Firstly - Thanks for stopping by!! I am a Melbourne-based musician, educator and multi-instrumentalist working across performance, recording and music education.
I started on piano at the age of six before moving into trumpet and trombone in high school, and from there, things got slightly out of hand. These days, I perform professionally across both brass and woodwind instruments, driven by a long-standing curiosity for sound, style, and the different ways music can be shaped and communicated.
My work has taken me across a wide range of settings, from orchestral and studio work to live television, touring productions, and the contemporary jazz and commercial music scene. I’ve had the opportunity to perform with artists including Zoltán Kiss, Marshall Gilkes, Michael Bublé, James Morrison, Hugh Jackman, Tones and I and have appeared in house bands for shows such as Australia's Got Talent and The X Factor.
I move comfortably between styles, including classical, jazz, big band, Latin, funk, rock, soul and various world music traditions, but at the centre of it all is a focus on musical integrity, adaptability, and listening.
Alongside performing, I’m deeply committed to music education. I work with students at all levels, with a focus on building strong foundations, musical independence, and a genuine connection to the music they create. My teaching reflects the same philosophy as my performing: clarity, curiosity, and a belief that music is for those willing to engage with it.
A big part of what drives me is a fascination with instruments.... particularly the unusual, the rare and the often overlooked. From traditional orchestral instruments to more obscure or historical ones, my collection is not just about ownership, but exploration of sound. Each instrument offers a different voice, colour, personality and perspective.
